POSITION SUMMARY: 

Located in McLeansville, North Carolina, ACC West is searching for a full-time Union CDL Driver to join their team. Well-qualified candidates will be able ability to safely run low boy, commercial pick-up trucks, semis.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to safely run low boy, commercial pick-up trucks, semis.
  • Haz-Mat endorsement a plus.
  • Valid Class A driver’s license and medical card.
  • Employees will be expected to go to job sites and as a team perform designated work.
  • Complete work orders as scheduled in a timely, professional, safe manner.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
  • Knows how to operate and maintain equipment needed to perform job tasks.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be physically capable of regularly lift/pull/carry 30-50 pounds, climb a ladder and negotiate uneven soil conditions.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices.

Qualifications

  • GED
  • High School Diploma

Position Requirements

  • 1 year experience preferred. 
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future.
